Karlene was born June 27, 1980. She passed away at the age of 32 from complications delivering her second child, Madison, on June 13, 2013.
Karlene was dedicated to her family and was a phenomenal mother and wife and an active member of the Middletown United Methodist Church. She was highly motivated and quickly achieved whatever goals she set for herself.
Karlene was artistic and enjoyed many hobbies, including scrapbooking and Pinterest. She “lil camper” was the president of the Foothill Campers camping club. She was also athletic and had attained a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, as well as being active in the FACKA kickball league. In addition to her other interests, Karlene was active with the local animal shelter and very involved with her own “fur kids.”
Karlene worked for the FDA as an IT tech and was able to work from home, while caring for her three-year-old son Cameron. She was a cherished mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many people in a truly unforgettable way. She was a beautiful, caring soul who always had a smile on her face.
As a result of her death, her husband of 10 years is now trying to care for their two young children on one income, with added child care expenses. Now her family and friends are trying to help support her family in any and all ways possible and are asking for assistance from all who are willing to help.
Karlene left this world way too soon. Cherish every day in your life, just as she did. Thank you in advance, and may God bless you.
