Matthew Kepler Fund |

Matthew
Kepler, is the son of Richard and
Patti Kepler, of Woodsboro
(previously Middletown), Maryland.
Matthew graduated from Middletown
High School in 2007. He was a member
of the Cross Country team, the
Indoor/Outdoor Track Teams, and was
a 4 time State Pole Vaulting
Champion. Matthew was an active
member of the Middletown 4-H Dairy
Club, the Holstein Association, and
the Brown Swiss Association. He
exhibited his animals for many years
at the local, State and National
Levels. Matt just finished his 2nd
year at the University of Maryland
studying to be a Landscape
Architect.
On June
7, 2009, Matthew had a serious
skateboarding accident while
visiting friends at the University
of Maryland. He experienced
Traumatic Brain Injury and was in a
coma for nearly two months. Some
doctors recommended that Matt be
used as an Organ Donor. However,
with the loving help of his parents,
rehabilitation specialists at
National Rehabilitation Hospital in
Washington, DC, and our Heavenly
Father, Matt is now speaking,
beginning to use his arms and legs,
and fighting to regain an
independent life. For more
information on Matt’s condition,
visit his websites at:
www.howismatt.ning.com
or
