| Daniel Mack 43 was
diagnosed February 9, 2008 with (AML)
Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. Dan
immediately entered John’s Hopkins for 4
weeks of Chemotherapy. Dan will require
a bone marrow transplant and was lucky
enough for his sister, Betsy to be a 6/6
match. Before the bone marrow
transplant may take place, Dan’s cancer
must be in remission. 2 weeks ago Dan
was told his leukemia was in remission
in the blood but now has spread into his
spinal fluid. For the past few weeks
Dan has been undergoing out patient
chemotherapy and was told April 22, 2008
that he must return to John’s Hopkins
fulltime because his leukemia is not
staying in remission.
The plan now is to
get him into remission and immediately
move to a bone marrow transplant. Dan
and his family are mentally very strong
but as Dan is unable to work, we as a
group of family and friends can help.
Seen above with his lovely wife Mary and
2 beautiful children. Daniel Mack
graduated from Walkersville High in
1983. He attended college at Towson
University. His devotion to his family
and friends is just one reason he is
loved by so many. Your donations to the
PPF (Patty Pollatos Fund) will 100% go
to the future needs of Daniel and his
family. We can not thank you enough.
God Bless.
