Our prayers and

family.
Friends, Alumni,
Supporters, Booster Members and Coaches,
Who was Iron Man Dan? :
Danny Mack was a
personal friend of mine and so many
others; he lived 44 incredible years,
Married an amazing woman and loved his 2
children more than anything. Words
cannot describe how amazing of a
husband, father, son, brother and
special person Dan was and someone that
we all enjoyed being around He was a
former Walkersville High and Towson
State University football
player/graduate, hard working
businessman and an incredible athlete.
In Feb. of 2008,
Dan was diagnosed with AML Leukemia, a
serious fast-growing Cancer of the blood
and bone marrow. Dan received a stem
cell transplant donation from his
sister, Betsy in early April. Dan
suffered with this disease and fought to
the end like a true champion. He is
remembered as a winner, an incredible
individual that never gave up his fight
to beat this terrible disease. Sadly,
Dan was taken from us on April 30,
2009. Our hearts go out to Dan and his
family during this difficult time.
I would like to personally thank the
many people that have already made
donations from across the world. The
love and support that Dan’s family
continues to receive is remarkable!
