On
Monday December 20, 2010 our dear Joni
Knott suffered a brain aneurysm while
getting ready for work. Her boss became
concerned when she didn't report to
work. Several concerned friends and
co-workers were trying to reach her as
well. By noon, she was discovered
unconscious. She was taken to Frederick
Memorial Hospital where they did a CT
scan and it was discovered that she had
a substantial amount of blood on her
brain. She was airlifted to Georgetown
University Hospital in Washington DC. By
8PM that night, she underwent a 6 hour
surgery to clamp the burst artery and 2
drainage tubes were inserted to relieve
the pressure from her brain. Everyday,
Joni is showing signs of improvement and
we have hope and faith in her recovery.
However, at this time, she is still in a
very critical state and will have a long
road to recovery. Joni is a very hard
worker and was the sole provider in her
household. Unfortunately, since Joni is
unable to work now, there is no income
to meet her monthly obligations. We
desperately want to save her home until
we can better determine what her
prognosis will be.
At this time her family and friends are
asking for prayers and donations to help
pay her monthly household and medical
expenses.
Thank you for your concern. Your
generosity is greatly appreciated. God
Bless!
